Metallurgic Quality
The decades-long refining know-how and the innovative characteristics of the plant allow to obtain finely de-gassed ingots free of both intra-crystalline oxidation and foams and/or skins in the free solidification part. The absence of gas and intra-crystalline oxidation is evident from the absence of blisters in the polished sections of the ingots and from the fine grain in the fracture-proof sections of the ingots.
The increasing pervasiveness of special primary alloys in the automotive industry is leading to new and more stringent demands for mechanical performance in castings.
The metallurgical and process know-how of Aluphoenix Srl allows the realization of structural alloys with very advanced and targeted refinements, globular and very fine eutectic structures.
For the computerized verification of the calibration status of the internal control equipment, Aluphoenix Srl uses external primary samples issued accredited laboratories by ISO/IEC 17 025.
Control equipment management software is interfaced with the enterprise ERP and allows the collection, processing and analysis of product and process data in real time.
The test samples of the chemical analysis are obtained in accordance with EN 14361:2005 and the internal laboratory spectrometers managed in accordance with EN 14726:2019.
The metallurgical laboratory is independent of the production and the test certificates conform to the standard EN 10 204 – 3. 1b.

Aluphoenix Srl has implemented an integrated and certified Corporate Quality and Environmental Management System in accordance with IATF 16 949:2016 (Management Standard for Quality Specific to the Automotive Sector), UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 14 001:2015.
